Hi I'm Kim! I'm an illustrator/ animator/ graphic novelist. I like stories more than the beach. Almost. Maybe it's a tie. My first career was being a beach lifeguard, and then a career in animation, and now I combine those two loves in my first graphic novel series, Surfside Girls.
I am currently working on the third graphic novel in the series. Look for it on bookshelves or in the Shop in 2021! When I'm not in the classroom or at my desk, I might be running a 10K or out on the ocean in my boat or on my board getting one more freckle. I live on a tree-lined street in sunny Southern California, with my husband, son, and Springer Spaniel.
